CIAO 2.0: a new technical meeting held

On September 25th, 2025, the partners of the CIAO 2.0 project met online to review progress
and plan the next phases of the platform’s development. The main goal of the project is to
create a modern, gamified digital platform designed to facilitate learning through interactive
quizzes, context-based exercises, and a motivational system based on points, badges, and
leaderboards, accessible even to non-technical users.

The platform will be built with advanced technologies: the backend will use Laravel and
Filament, the frontend Inertia.js and Vue.js, while data management will rely on PostgreSQL
with Redis support to ensure high performance and efficient background processing.
Key features of the platform include: user authentication and management, personalized
profiles and intuitive dashboards, interactive quizzes and exercises, real-time notifications,
gamification tools, content management via CMS, interactive map integration, and detailed
analytics to monitor learning progress.

The platform is designed to be modular, scalable, and easily extendable with new content and
exercises. Development will follow an iterative approach, with regular reviews and continuous
feedback, ensuring a functional, user-friendly platform ready to support new educational
opportunities and engaging learning paths.
