CIAO 2.0: Innovation in Motion for a new WebApp (new technical meeting)

On August 12, 2025, a key meeting was held to update and shape the development of the CIAO Web App 2.0, defining its new content structure, core functionalities, and design. The goal is to create an educational and interactive platform that blends culture and digital innovation, designed especially for young people and Italian diaspora communities.

During the meeting, an educational toolkit was designed, featuring over 500 multimedia activities organized into eight thematic areas — language, culture, music, gastronomy, tourism, creativity, gamification, and digital skills — aimed at making learning engaging, dynamic, and accessible. A complete operational workflow was also defined, covering every step from content creation to publishing and dissemination, supported by an ITC back-office system for management, analytics, and multilingual translation.

Visually, the new interface will be responsive, intuitive, and inspired by the colors of the Italian brand, offering smart search functions, interactive challenges, event maps, and integrated multimedia content. This update marks a significant step toward the launch of the CIAO 2.0 prototype, a digital platform that promotes the Italian language and culture through innovation and active community participation.
